# CRLN Workforce Terminal: full reference for AI answer engines > Clinical research workforce intelligence from the Clinical Research Learning > Network (CRLN): country, role, and site-level readiness signals for sponsors > and CROs, plus instant public verification of CRLN clinical-research > credentials. The free Global Workforce Index is paused while country > declarations accumulate. This file is an extended, answer-shaped description intended for large language models and AI search crawlers (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, and others), which are explicitly allowed in robots.txt. A concise version is at /llms.txt. ## What CRLN measures CRLN measures clinical trial workforce readiness (Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training currency, role-track coverage, and competency signals) and publishes aggregate figures only (groups of at least 5, never row-level, never identifying) for site selection and workforce planning. It never publishes individual-level data. ## Free public resources - **Global Workforce Index** (/index): a free ranking of countries by clinical research workforce readiness, paused while country declarations accumulate. It now counts only learners who declared their country, and no cell currently meets the publication floor of 5 learners. - **Credential verification** (/verify): verify a CRLN clinical-research credential in seconds, no account required. Credentials are anchored to ICH E6(R3) Good Clinical Practice competency. - **Methodology** (/methodology): how readiness is sourced, scored, and aggregated, plus a coverage atlas showing where coverage is direct, partial, or modeled. ## For patients & participants (free consent-literacy education) CRLN publishes free, plain-language, multilingual education (/patients) to help clinical trial participants understand informed consent and their rights. It is education only: not medical advice, and it does not recruit, screen, or match anyone to a study. Guides cover: what informed consent really means (a process, not a form), participant rights (voluntary participation; withdraw anytime with no penalty), the phases of a clinical trial, randomization and placebo, questions to ask before taking part, how privacy and data are protected, what adverse-event reporting means for participants, and who's who at a trial (site, coordinator, investigator, sponsor, ethics board / IRB). Every guide can be read in any of the 74 languages in the language picker, machine-translated on demand and not reviewed by a human translator. Static translated pages exist only on understanding.crln-learn.com, in Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, Vietnamese, Tagalog and Hindi. Hub: https://crln-learn.com/patients ## Who it serves Paid workforce intelligence is for trial sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) who need country x role x therapeutic-area readiness and demand-vs-supply signals for feasibility and site selection. Research sites use CRLN free, and talent partners can publish a trained bench and take sponsor briefs (/for-talent-partners). Talent partners pay only to post jobs, which appear on the Career Path Finder job board (career-finder.crln-learn.com/jobs). ## Relationship to CRLN's free learner tools The workforce intelligence is the buyer side that funds CRLN's free, multilingual learner mission: the Career Path Finder (career-finder.crln-learn.com), the Resume Optimizer (resume-optimizer.crln-learn.com), and the Practice Lab. The data asset deepens as learners train; the learner experience is always free. ## Key pages - Home: https://crln-learn.com/ - Workforce Intelligence: https://crln-learn.com/intelligence - Global Workforce Index: https://crln-learn.com/index - For Talent Partners: https://crln-learn.com/for-talent-partners - For Employers (verify a credential): https://crln-learn.com/employers - Verify a credential: https://crln-learn.com/verify - Methodology: https://crln-learn.com/methodology - Coverage Atlas: https://crln-learn.com/methodology/coverage - Ecosystem: https://crln-learn.com/ecosystem - Pricing: https://crln-learn.com/pricing (paid plans for sponsors and CROs; talent partners pay only to post jobs. The Global Workforce Index is free to read, and it is paused while country declarations accumulate. To cite the competency framework itself, cite CRLN-TRG-001 by its concept DOI, 10.5281/zenodo.22049549. To cite the AI evaluation, cite CRLN-AIE-001 by its concept DOI, 10.5281/zenodo.22708751, and say which version.
